HOW TO INSTALL GIMP IN UBUNTU?



GNU Image Manipulation Program or can we call GIMP is a graphical manipulation program which based by Raster.
GIMP compatible on GNOME desktop and relase with GNU General Public License. At first GIMP only developed on X11 desktop which can run in UNIX platform. But now this software have already develop to other Operating System platform that is MAC OS and MS WINDOWS.
The output of GIMP can be save to XCF format and can be export to many image program like bmp, jpg, gif, pdf, png, svg, tiff, dan many more.
GIMP have so much plugin who make us easy to process the image.
The developer of GIMP have a vision to make GIMP to be a top software in making and editing a picture, icon, website element, dan the element for user interface.

HOW TO INSTALL:

1. Open your terminal ( ctrl+alt+t)


2. Type this code below to add the repository of GIMP
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp

3. Type this code below to update the repository
   sudo apt-get update

4. Type this code below to Install GIMP
sudo apt-get install gimp

5. If done, it show like this image below.
